Datasets

Measured and synthetic FR3 channel data for programmable wireless environments under real-world dynamics, to be shared openly with the research community.

FR3 Hybrid PWE Measurement Dataset

Measured FR3 channels in programmable wireless environments that combine reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) and metallic reflector arrays (MRA).

  • Indoor and outdoor-to-indoor (O2I) channel measurements around 7 GHz (Texas A&M) and 15 GHz (Tampere)
  • Reflection coefficients, beam patterns, and polarization behavior of the surfaces
  • Path loss, penetration loss, delay spread, and coherence bandwidth and time
  • Near-field effects and hardware nonidealities of the fabricated prototypes

Dynamic FR3 PWE Simulation Dataset

Synthetic channel data from a CST Studio–NVIDIA Sionna simulation suite calibrated against measurements, covering the dynamics real rooms actually have.

  • Multi-user mobility, including users entering, wandering, and leaving a room
  • Time-varying occupancy levels
  • Layout changes, from chairs moving to furniture being added or removed
  • An environment label for every sample, ready for AI training and testing

ISAC Context Benchmark

Channel data paired with environment context, for training and benchmarking ISAC models that infer occupancy, mobility stage, and layout changes from the channel itself.

  • Channel-gain sequences labeled with occupancy level and mobility stage
  • Layout-change events, for studying concept drift and continual learning
  • Train and test splits for evaluating generalization to unseen scenarios

Data sharing. FORMULA3 will release its synthetic and experimental datasets to the research community, following the project's NSF data management plan. Each release will include documentation, environment labels, and a recommended citation. Release announcements will be posted in News.
